Item description:

See scan - absolutely perfect condition except for a tiny chip to enamel of the bravery star attached at bottom of the badge. This is a scarce and rare first post WWII communist / socialist era Bulgarian Military Academy badge made out of sterling silver with enamels and old type coat of arms / crest and also having attached the 1st type bravery star at bottom. The design used is still the same as in the Royal period issues and is probably the first issue used from the begining of the post war Regency. Scarce military / militaria collector piece and one of the rare Bulgarian badges.
