The two antique jewellery / jewelry cufflinks have en extraordinary design with scarce vintage fashion buttons at obverse and superb hand carved and sculptured Labrador dogs heads cameos at obverse. The size of the cuffs is nice and large and they are approximately 30mm x 25mm. The labradorite gemstone is of probably the highest quality Nepal or other type rare BLUE color semitransparent one and has a scarce fluorescence also called labradorescence for this particular stone. When you move the cuffs on light they have a real life inside feeling with great nuances of fluorescent colors sparkling inside. Such large cameo carved labradorite pieces are almost impossible to see and of such a highest quality and rarest color makes them even more important. Sometimes the blue labradorite gem is also called blue moonstone. The whole set including the 3 shirt buttons are made in 18 karat gold and are of highest workmanship and are done by a superb Swiss jewellery master. The gold printed label on the inside of the velvet case states that the set was made by the Geneve, Switzerland jewel master and company of C.A.M. SICHMON – KRUMLING, who was appointed to a Royal / Royalty court jewelry master of the Spanish Queen Isabella II (1830-1904), as well as a Royal Court jeweler to the Imperial German Prince of Baden and Prince of Brunswick. The case itself has a nice soft yellowish brown leather on top and is in perfect condition as well.
