Item description:

See scan - perfect condition. This pilot aviation parachute / chute paratrooper troops badge is a late WWII Bulgarian Royal issue from the very last days of the war and the Regent / Regency period when there was still a Bulgarian Prince / King, but all under communist rule. The Regency period itself was very short from the end of 1944 until very early 1947. Perfect detail of this badge - it is the 2nd Regency issue type with red star on top and lion is crowned in a background shield. Anyhow, it is one of the rarest Bulgarian badges. Scarce militaria / military airborne collector item.
