Item description:

See scan - perfect condition. This is one of the rarest Bulgarian Communist era badges. It is the badge of a marine ship Captain / Commander of Long Distance Cruise and Destination travels and this type of badge is for a MIDSHIPMAN / warrent officer or also called a lieutenant junior grade / ensign. Only ship Captains that went on sea cruises that are trans continental and crossing at least one ocean wore that badge. So far I've seen just a few of these for sale. Scarce piece with an anchor and a screw / propeller. Great filigree work. True militaria / military collector item and one of the rarest modern times Bulgarian badges.
